Getting to Class

Classes are held at locations throughout our community of Northwest Philadelphia — in local churches, schools, businesses, and homes or outdoors in the Wissahickon and at local points of interest. We have an office at 6601 Greene St, where we also are able to host some small classes.

Accessibility

 Access for students with disabilities varies by venue. Many of our classes are in older buildings, however some have been updated and provide elevators, or ramps. Please let us know if you have limitations climbing stairs or have difficulty walking. Alerting us will help us make adjustments to the extent that is possible. The list below denotes wheelchair accessible locations.

• Action Karate Mt. Airy – 11 W. Mt. Airy Ave. Limited parking available on Mt. Airy Ave. Free parking also available in the lot next to FitLife on Germantown Ave.
• Airy Kitchens – 88 W. Johnson St.
• Bella Mosaic – 6780 Germantown Ave. Near Carpenter Lane & Fino’s Pizzeria. Street parking.
• Cathedral Village – 600 E. Cathedral Rd. in Roxborough. Across Henry Ave. from Andorra Shopping Center. Park in visitors’ spaces along entrance drive. Go to main entrance, reception area.
• Center on the Hill (in the Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill) – 8855 Germantown Ave. Just past Chestnut Hill Hospital, make a right into driveway. There is a large parking lot behind the church. Look for the Center on the Hill signage.
• Chestnut Hill Friends Meeting – 20 E. Mermaid Lane, between Germantown and Stenton Ave. Parking is available in the parking lot adjacent to the building on East Mermaid Lane.
• Chestnut Hill Hospital – 8835 Germantown Ave. Free parking available in the parking garage.
• Chestnut Hill Music Academy – 22 E Chestnut Hill Ave. In St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
• Chestnut Hill United – 8812 Germantown Ave, across Germantown Ave from the Hospital (closer to Chestnut Hill Avenue). There is a parking lot behind the church.
• Church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields – 8000 St. Martins Lane. There is a parking lot across Willow Grove Avenue from the Church.
• Church of the Annunciation BVM – 324 Carpenter Ln. Parking lot onsite.
• Cliveden Carriage House – 6401 Germantown Ave. The Carriage House is best reached from Cliveden St., which is between Upsal and Johnson Streets.
• Essential Community Connections – 8030 Germantown Ave. Near the intersection of Germantown Ave and E. Abington Ave.
• Flaco’s Dance Factory – 411 Old York Rd., Jenkintown
• Friends Free Library Germantown Friends School – 5418 Germantown Ave
• Kelbourne Woolens – 231 W. Mt. Pleasant Ave, near Cresheim Rd. Small parking lot onsite.
• Mindy Flexer Studio School – 5225 Greene St.
• Mt. Airy Learning Tree Office – 6601 Greene Street, corner of Greene and Hortter Streets.
• Mt. Airy Art Garage (MAAG) – 7054 Germantown Ave. 
• Mt. Airy Performing Arts – 230 E Gowen Ave. On the campus of Grace Epiphany Church at Gowen & Ardleigh (enter through rear door, facing playground).
• North Light Community Center – 175 Green Ln, Manayunk. Between Silverwood and Main Streets. 
• Opus Pickleball Club – 900 E. Mermaid Ln in Wyndmoor. Parking available onsite.
• Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill – 8855 Germantown Ave, next to Chestnut Hill Hospital
• Ridge Ave United Methodist Church – 7811 Ridge Ave. Parking lots available onsite. The kitchen is wheelchair accessible.
• RowZone Fitness – 4401 Main St, Manayunk
• St. Paul’s Episcopal Church – 22 E. Chestnut Hill Ave.
• Summit Presbyterian Church – 6757 Greene St, between Carpenter Lane and Lincoln Drive.  The Parlor and Gym (2nd floor) are wheelchair accessible from the Westview Street entrance.
• Trolley Car Table Tennis Club – Falls Center. 3300 Henry Ave, East Falls
• Unitarian Society of Germantown – Use 361 W. Johnson St in your GPS. Park in the last lot and walk up the sidewalk to the 2nd stairway.
• Unitarian Universalists of Mt. Airy – 6900 Stenton Ave. at Gorgas Ln. Street parking.
• United Lutheran Seminary – 7301 Germantown Ave. All MALT Classes take place in the Brossman Center for Education. A good campus map is here.
• Wesley Enhanced Living – 6300 Greene St. Limited parking is available in the lot in front of the building. Ample street parking is also available on Greene. 
• Wissahickon Dance Academy – 38 E. School House Ln., just East of Germantown Ave. Parking lot available next to the building.
• Woodmere Art Museum – 9201 Germantown Ave.
• Wyck Historic House and Garden – 6026 Germantown Ave. Free parking available along Walnut Ln.
