Now in its 31st year, Mt. Airy Learning Tree (MALT) offers over 250 classes in fall, winter and spring terms, ranging from Tai Chi, yoga, drawing, knitting, cooking, computers, How To classes and many more for all ages, backgrounds and skills.
Classes are held in over 50 locations in NW Philadelphia including community centers, churches, and schools.
MALT draws 5,000 students from Mt. Airy, Chestnut Hill, Germantown, NE Philadelphia, Montgomery and Delaware Counties and even New Jersey.
MALT features over 200 faculty members each term, and is always open to new ideas - fill out our online form any time!
Here at the Mt. Airy Learning Tree, we are always trying to find ways to collaborate with other organizations and promote lifelong recreational learning. This drive has spawned the Community Synergy Project which links together many adult recreational learning organizations by promoting every organization’s class schedules as one through a website. Thus, magnifying the promotional effect of all learning institutions involved.
